Intuitive Eating + ThetaHealing®

FOOD! Do you eat because you love to chew, because your filling a void, or for just mere comfort?? Have you heard the term, “Intuitive Eating?” Can you tell when you feel extreme fatigue after eating certain foods, or when you feel light and energetic after eating other foods? Can you tell which foods you digest easily, or when your having an inflammatory response?

Listening to your body, and watching for signs of discomfort, inflammation, or mood changes is a form of self-care. Asking your body what it wants and when it needs food is, intuitive eating. Do you eat beans and get gassy afterwards? What does this gas mean? Is that normal—or is your body telling you that you have trouble breaking down legumes? Do your joints ache after eating rice or crackers? Does your face break out when you eat greasy foods? Do you need a nap after eating a big plate of pasta? These are all SIGNS that your body is giving you. Are you listening?

Listening to your body, and letting go of “food rules” that you have been exposed to for years could be just what your body has been yearning for. It’s okay if your not ready to eat as soon as you wake up. It’s okay if your body wants it’s first meal at 2pm, instead of 8am. Eat when you are hungry, and stop when you are full.

So, what happens if you want to eat all the time?! This is when you stop and ask yourself what emotions are coming up for you…. Are you bored, lonely, feeling emotional, angry, stressed, anxious? Noticing what emotions are coming up for you and releasing that emotion and acknowledging what is happening is key.

When we strengthen our intuition with tools like ThetaHealing®, we learn to access our subconscious and can determine the source of our emotional pain and where certain thoughts are coming from. Being an Empath -- the gifts and woes.

What is an Empath? According to the American Empath Association: “An Empath is someone who understands the mental or emotional states of others in a way that defies conventional science and psychology. Empaths have the ability to sense the feelings, thoughts, and energies of people, plants, animals, places, or objects. In addition to sensing, Empaths absorb the energy of those around them. Empaths often experience stress or illness if they are bombarded by too many negative emotions. Empaths can also use their abilities to help others by imagining themselves in someone else’s situation and connecting with them on a deep level.”

There are benefits to being an empath. They can be great friends to have, because they are great listeners! They have big hearts and love to help those in need. Empaths are emotionally attuned and very intuitive. They can read the energy of a room, they can detect dishonesty a mile away, and are very connected to nature. We have an innate ability to know what other people need and want.

There are also some down sides to being an empath. An empath can often feel drained after spending time with people, and it can be difficult to say no or to create boundaries with others. Because empaths have a tendency to feel what their family or friends are going through, they can often be overwhelmed by painful emotions, such as fear or negative emotions.

Empaths are usually introverted, so they require a lot more alone time that most people. It is important for them to recharge their energy on a daily basis to prevent exhaustion or a healing crisis. Recharging could be a relaxing bath, a walk in nature, meditating, reading, and just alone time.

Empaths and sensitive people can be triggered by numerous things like: Crowds, loud noises, constant chatter, scary movies, seeing a traumatic event, strong smells, chemicals, artificial lighting, certain tones, and repetitive noises.

Learn how to Manifest with ThetaHealing®!

If you had everything you ever dreamed of, what would that look like? Who is in this dream of yours? Are you a millionaire, do you have two homes, do you have a large yacht, or are you an artist who is well renowned?

What is the last thing that you manifested for yourself? Did it come to you easily, or did it take longer than you had hoped? Every statement, thought, and action is reflected by what we are manifesting in our lives.

According to Vianna Stibal, the founder of ThetaHealing®, “Just talking about things will sometimes manifest things into your life, and the chances of this happening are about 30-40%, visualizing increases your chances nearer to 50%. But a Theta State increases the manifestations enormously, to about 80-90%.” Yes, you read that right, just going up and connecting to The Creator of All That Is, will increase your manifestation!

Want to know HOW to do this for yourself?

  • In order to manifest, you must first decide what it is you want in your life.

  • Know what you want, word for word, every detail.

  • Be specific and ask that it comes to you in the highest and best way.

  • When you manifest you state it, or write it down as if “I have this now.”

When we manifest we are giving our subconscious things to work on, and our subconscious likes to work on many things at once! So, make a list of 5 or more items, the more the better!

An example of this is: “I own my own business selling furniture, and I am receiving $100,000 per year or MORE. I have a manager who is in my highest and best, who wants to help me generate business. I own my own warehouse, and I have 10 employees who all respect me.” You could go on and on with specific details around this.

Be aware that there may be blocks on some level concerning what you want to manifest. If your manifestations do not come into reality, the reason may be a program on the Core, Genetic, History, or Soul Levels.

So, in the above example, this person could have a CORE belief since early childhood from his parents of something like, “you will never own your own business, your not smart enough.” This would have to be pulled and resolved so that his manifestations would become a reality.
